State Chemist  Update

• A representative of the Office of the Indiana State Chemist
will be joining us for a regulatory update. NPDES will be reviewed as
well as information on applicator licensing and insurance requirements.

IPLLA Update

• Bob Andrews of IPLLA will also be on hand to review pertinent lessons
to be learned by the entire green industry due to tree damage resulting
from the use of Imprelis herbicide this past summer and the long
range impact of it to new product development.

8:30 am: Indiana Irrigation Council Update

10:00 am: State Regulatory Affairs Across the Nation Chad Forcey • The Irrigation Association

Chad will join us again to share some of the information he has gathered the past year working with state government. In his role of working with groups such as the IICC, and various state governments, he and the IA are working to protect the future of the irrigation industry.

11:00 am: Future Changes to Look for in the Irrigation Industry

This portion of the program will be devoted to sharing the ideas the Irrigation Council has been working on and then to get feedback from contractors working in the field. Please plan on joining us for this roundtable discussion and get involved with the future of our group.

12:00 pm: Break and Lunch

1:00 pm: Understanding 2 Wire and Decoder Irrigation

This portion of our meeting will focus on a discussion of the basics behind two wire decoder irrigation systems regardless of brand name and what they offer the contractor and the customer. We will be talking about troubleshooting and servicing decoder systems.
