Indiana Professional Lawn

& Landscape Association

Indiana Irrigation

Contractors Council

About IPLLA/IICC

The Association holds two major educational events each year in central Indiana.  The first is The Summer Field Day held in late August at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds in Danville.  The second is our annual Winter Workshop held at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds in Noblesville, IN.

In additional to these statewide events, IPLLA also holds four regional “Advanced Training Workshops" each February at Noblesville, Nashville, Ft. Wayne, and Merrillville, Indiana.

In November each year, the association presents Grounds Manager Workshops in Plymouth, Indiana and Nashville, Indiana aimed at those individuals responsible for management of school grounds, parks, and athletic fields.

Combined, these eight events offer well rounded and conveniently located opportunities for continuing education for all current and future members.

Involvement in government and industry affairs is also a major part of our effort to serve the Green Industry in Indiana.  The Indiana Professional Lawn & Landscape Association (IPLLA), The Indiana Irrigation Contractors Council (IICC), the Indiana Nursery & Landscape Association (INLA) , and the Indianapolis Landscape Association (ILA) all participate as full members of the Green Industry Alliance (GIA) whose purpose is to represent the green industry in dealings with the Indiana State Legislature, the Governor’s Office, and various industry regulatory agencies.

Bob Andrews, our association’s Executive Director, has also served as a voting member of the Indiana Pesticide Review Board since 2005.
